Twisted Threads--
Some threads have a tendency to twist more than
others. This is especially true of those threads with a "pearl" type
construction; it is also normal that we twist the needle with each stitch we
make. Some steps you can take to avoid some of the twisting problem:
1. Stitch with the appropriate length of thread; long lengths naturally cause
more problems.
2. Drop your threaded needle after you make a few stitches in order to let the
thread unwind naturally.
3. Notice how you are twisting the needle and give it a half-twist in the
opposite direction with each stitch (yes, sounds a little cumbersome to me.)
