Pearsall's Filoselle Embroidery Silk

Pearsall's has been established since 1795 as manufacturers and merchants of fine silks for embroidery, knitting and sewing purposes. Some of Pearsall's silk threads and flosses have been used since the eighteenth century for needlework, eastern-embroidery and ecclesiastical vestments. Pearsall's have retained and re-introduced the original name "filoselle" reproducing the same silk constructions and replicating the colours that have been used in embroidery for over 200 years.

This silk comes in 339 beautiful colors, plus 12 overdyed colors. The sheen is EXCELLENT! The shadings within families offers excellent gradations. This silk is perfect for hand embroidery, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, etc. 4 meter skeins, 6-ply.
