Caron Collection—Waterlilies. 6-yard skein. ($5.80)

A 12- ply, hand-dyed variegated spun silk (made from Soie Cristale). A single ply is slightly heavier than a ply of cotton floss. Another lovely thread! Has a subtle sheen and good light reflecting ability. There are 121 colors that are similar to Watercolours/Wildflowers; Waterlilies tends to be lighter than the same color in Watercolours (the pima cotton thread).

Recommended usage: #13-14 canvas use 5-6 plies; #18 canvas use 4 plies; #24 canvas use 2 plies. Slightly heavier than cotton floss. Use in cross stitch, embroidery, and needlepoint.
