An excellent thread! Very high sheen twisted silk and one of the easiest silks to use. A high quality filament silk (the finest type) Available in approximately 197 beautiful colors and size is perfect match for #18 canvas; it is a “round” thread similar to pearl cotton #5 in shape and size. Sheen is incredible! (May be the shiniest silk thread available!) Colors similar to Anchor colors. Try it in textured stitches and with metallics since the sheen is so good; when worked in basketweave or continental, it has the look of beads. Pay attention to the natural twisting of the plies. Drop the needle or rotate it to maintain the built in twist and to keep the plies from separating. Can be stripped apart to use on finer mesh like a flat silk, but will have a "krinkled" appearance.
