Jean Smith Designs--Fruits and Vegetables
We are pleased to offer the wonderful designs of Jean Smith! She is one of the
premier artists in painted canvases, and combines the elements of Impressionist
Art with exciting new approaches to needlepoint.
Most of her designs are affordable and QUICK to stitch using her method of
stitching; she employs wonderful blending of colors and threads in the needle,
and to get the best effects, her designs should be worked using the "long and
short" stitching method. If you have ever worked Bargello, you will be quite
comfortable with this method. Having studied under Jean Smith, we will be
delighted to teach you in this wonderful method of stitching--as Jean calls it,
"painting with fiber."
